hi all ki have mk2 octi vrs tdi which ive had remapped and dpf removed struggling with ideas of which mods to do next ?

Check the rules on dpf requirements.  I cant remember if it's 'cars made after XXXX date' or 'all cars tested after XXXX date'.  May need it putting back for MOT.

As for mods, if shocks are ok then get it lowered and maybe some stickier pads or all round brake upgrade.  Then maybe look at what rubber you use.

Yeah mot was ok as the emissions were fine. Yeah think brake upgrade may be next thanks would love to have it lowered but to many speed humps

For around £5000, you can get to approx 350hp, with a big turbo from Darkside developments. Slightly smoky though, but they will tune to your requirements so you can tell them you want less smoke as opposed to less power etc.

 

Would need to be MOT'd by a local friendly mechanic though
