Well, perhaps it's for the best.

Please note

This model is now discontinued by the manufacturer and factory orders are now closed. You can obtain similar vehicles from existing  or by .

That's for me looking at a Seat Leon 4x4 300. :(  I blame @john999boy for letting the cat out of the bag.

So back to reality, a vRS, it has the right size boot afterall :D

This challenge model has me vexed, nice options, terrible option in the wheel department ( I think ), versus a 'std' 245 with a few options. Although those options soon add up when you get the enforced addon's, want columbus pick 3years BS software or BT WLAN neither of which I want.

Heck at this rate I might just crack and grab a superb 280 afterall. But it's too big, it's a sleeper. I can rebadge the RS, I've had a RS before... I've had a superb before, maybe one of these SUV things then... but you love corners!

Dear Mr Renault, Can I borrow your Megane R.S. for a day please?

Why oh why did Honda do that to the civic  a s2000 isn't practical enough.

Can I bear a ford? Will the ford still be on my drive next week... SWMBO has a focus 1l lease car coming... I bet she'd take the wrong keys every morning.

What is a perplexed, divided fella supposed to do :)

/ buy the 2nd hand diesel scout and go climb more mountains

But the 'demonstrators' are sitting, not selling, not in demand.  Make them a cheeky offer.

Walk away and leave them to come back to you when they are getting more desperate.

Buy a basic 245 in Corrida red with no options on PCP (to get whatever the contribution currently is say £2,500). Cheap as chips comfy on 225/40R18 tyres (hopefully not delivered on Bridgestones:thumbdown:) and spend the money saved on going to stage 2 with Milltek 3" resonated exhaust Sports cat of course, uprated intercooler, induction kit and remap and a fat juicy 330bhp, 1,370kg (manual, hatch of course for lightness) for guaranteed road weapon whilst keeping the sleeper (relative term it's still a VRS) look at affordable running costs 40mpg achieveable. Just insured mine for £301 down from last years £339 using the comparison websites. Road tax from year 2 only £140. Go on you know you want to. I'll let you try mine if you like as an incentive. Just ignore all my standard limited edition features and my 4 optional extras or you will get too jealous. Open offer Colin on the test drive, you won't believe how hard it goes and stops with the uprated HEL stainless brakelines and DOT 5.1 Motorsport spec brake fluid. It is now as it should have left the Skoda factory, proper Golf R , Seat Cupra Leon 280/290/300/310 eater.:tongueout:

Another £2.50 and you can stick on a 4x4 badge.

Obviously still a FWD puller, but will fool some... Kind of a Hot taxi souped up.
