Leaving Skoda for now

Featured Replies

Had a 1.4 tsi  dsg Octavia ii facelift estate for 5-6 years. Really great car in many ways, inc engine, gearbox, space, reliability, ac and folding mirrors etc. Only a couple of niggles: the Bolero amp has some weird low bass boost that I hated (so swapped for Android with a good eq), and it would let road noise through on bad tarmac (but I guess VW/Audi have to differentiate somehow).

Have probably just put the last tank full in - waiting to arrange delivery of a 3 year old Bmw 225 xe hybrid.

Farewell and good luck with the Beemer.

Adios, good luck with your new endeavour , see you shortly, at hotel Briskoda . ;)

Thanks peeps. 'off-topic' and 'roadside hotel' for the win. Except maybe the Brexit threads.

Good luck on the BM, hope you enjoy it, nice to have a change of space. I went and looked at a year octy scout, but felt exactly like my 5year old superb used to. Walking back popped head into peugeot garage, sat in a 508 for 30mins like a kid in a candy store.
