Just was wondering ikno some of you people are probz sick of this question but who is number 1 for remapping any ideas and will a stage 1 remap make my car smoke even with the cat on ? Cheers  

The PD130 in the VRS has been around for nearly 20 years now and map development stopped a long time ago.

There are two types of map available for the standard turbo, a torque limited map to preserve your clutch and a maximum torque map, there is no "stage 1", it's marketing drivel.

Unless you get a bespoke map made on a rolling road any map you buy will just be a generic file blown onto your ECU, even a bespoke map will just be a dynamically tweaked generic map.

You pays your money and takes your choice.

My point is that it doesn't really matter, just find somewhere nearby.
