Help skoda stalling and consuming fuel

Featured Replies

Good day all.

I have a skoda fabia 2008 model sedan 1.4 16v. Lately, I discovered that it was stalling when trying to ascend a hill and went ahead to scan and came up with these codes:

1- 02 Censor circuit bank 1- slow response.

2- 01166- Engine torque signal - no signal and outside tolerance.

3- 01271-temperatureflap motor- short circuit to ground.

4- 01596- fresh/ recirculation air flap position- open circuit/short circuit to B+

5- 65535- control module faulty

6- 01598- drive battery voltage - signal too low

Kindly share if you've had this kind of issues in the past or presently.

Thank you.

Replace the pre-cat lambda probe.

@ Sepulchrave: Thank you for you response. You meant the oxygen sensor on the exhaust manifold?

Thank you

Thank you @ Sepulchrave. Will work on it.  Can the sensor be cleaned? This is for the 02 sensor issues. Need more on other issues if you do have any info. Thank you

The rest of the codes are not related to the engine stalling issue and can be cleared and ignored for now.
