What about retrofitting rear dynamic turn signals?

As the estate rear turn signal indicator is a spot shaped this is not the right location for such an indicator.

I am thinking about the tailgate window lower part as a possible location.

As for where to source the indicator from, there are already available for some cars in the VAG group (VW, Audi).

Of course there is some wiring rerouting involved.

 

Has anyone  an opinion on this ?

I have heated mirrors however no indicators would the wiring loom still be fitted? 
 

Or would i have to reroute the wiring from the wings? Is this easy?
