EBC rear pads experiences?

Featured Replies

I am ordering some EBC rear pads to go with my new rear discs that are to be fitted next month.

I am aware that quite a few people had bad experiences with EBC brake pads in that they give off a lot of brake dust, however reading the AmD web site it states:

Triple award winning EBC Greenstuff pads are now available in an upgraded AF44/78 formulation for most European cars, again ECE R-90 compliant, yet the new formulation offers higher thermal conductivity and therefore reduces incidents of brake judder, better cold braking and better wear life over previous EBC green formulations.

  • Does they still give off a lot of brake dust?
  • Are they any better than the OEM pads?
  • What are peoples experiences with them?

Thanks, Chris.

Hellfire, great time to ask those questions as I'm dying to replace the stock pads on mine, read my mind. :)

just a small ^^

I am running Greenstuffs front and rear on my 312mm's and have been mighty impressed, very, very little brake dust and good performance (awesome when there warm)

Good to hear, on order from AmD tomorrow - is this the cheapest place to source them?
