Hi, long time no see, but my uncles old Mk1 Laurent & Klement Octavia requires a headlamp levelling sensor, and they seem completely impossible to find.

 

It's a 52 plate.

 

I think part number 4B0907503A would work, but I was hoping someone on here would be able to recommend what part number, and where to buy one, is best.

That is the part number for the rear sensor https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/octavia/oct/2003-252/9/941-941025/#1 is the front sensor  they do come up on eBay mainly from Lithuania

 cheers, hes needing the whole set up, including the rod, does that usually come with the unit?

Some of the used one on ebay do have the rod still attached, if not it's a £60 item from VAG on top of the price for the sensor !!! I found one in a scrapyard as mine had fallen off

Cheers, I think a scrap yard is his best bet tbh.

It should be the same/similar setup on other VAG models of the same era, as finding a MK1 L&K or other MK1's with the optional Xenon will be quite a rare find

He reckons this looks fairly close to it?

The sensor and the arm/rod look the same just the bracket that fits on the front wishbone is different it should be like this

Think it's possible to just buy a plate and transfer it over?

That plate should be available from Skoda/TPS use that link I put to get the part number
