Milltek Exhaust for Mk2 Octavia vRS

Featured Replies

Having had the Milltek sports cat & system on my last vRS, I was keen to see if they do anything for the Mk2 - or if they wanted someone to test a new system :D

Got this response :

Hi Dave,

Many thanks for your interest in Milltek Sport products. We should hopefully be developing something for the Octavia vRS in the next few months. If we do release anything I will let you know, alternatively please check our website for up to date products.

Kind regards,

Will have to see what they come up with

I think Shifty is getting a Blueflame exhaust for his MkII Octy vRS in the next few weeks - should be interesting to compare the Miltek to the Blueflame :D

Somewhat expensive and it's all your fault!!

I got into trouble coming back from a store with a load of bit's in the "trunk", because an Alligator wandering onto the Highway caused a little concern and backed up traffic.

I missed some fireworks and got a ticking off from the Mrs ;)

It will look very nice when it's finished Steve ;) ;)

Zaust (obviously!), 4 New Michelin PS2's & REVO StageII.

Oh, and for good measure I gone and got myself a 'VRS' private plate, although that has not gone down very well in the Makefish household.....................SWMBO's fuming :thumbdwn: :o

Nice one, ive got the same plans :D

That's been on there for ages, the problem was getting them to make the buggers. That one is the development car and the first retail one rolled off the production line on Friday, was couriered out overnight and fitted to it's new home on Saturday morning just in time for Trax on Sunday.

And to think, you where telling me not to phone you at home about the other bit's as you wanted to keep it discrete

Well, your parcel has arrived, I just stuck bushy on, 10 min job, big difference

cat back or turbo back m8? if it's cat back, I am waiting for a happy price for cat's from my mate Wayne over at JAC in nottingham.

Turbo back that was.

Turbo back that was.

feck, steve's won the lottery and not bought us a beer  before posting I should really open my eyes :D

Well it's been on now for a few days along with the new additions of a Carbonio air intake, short shifter (lurverly) and Neuspeed bush.

'Feck me' it pulls like a train and sound awsesome, I love it :D

Damn, I miss my vRS, although driving it on the channel islands would drive me potty...

Glad to see there are finally some mod's coming available for the car. Maybe I'll get me another one when I return to the mainland... goes off for a think

Two things about this I have noticed, one bad one good!.

The bad is that it is quite 'boomy' at around 3,500rpm which isn't a problem if you are having a blast but very tedious if you are cruising. Milltek are looking into this at the moment.

The good (and boy oh boy it was good!), I drove through the Culfail Tunnel near Lewes in East Sussex on Saturday and booted it :D :D :D , sounded like a fecking rally car :D :D :D

Milltek exhaust and Hi-flo cat (turbo-back) arrived today! Should be going on tomorrow, pics when fitted.

Cheers Shaun.

Be prepared for some 'booming'.

Booming you say?

As Steve says at certain RPM's it becomes quite 'boomy' inside the car. Certainly enough to make your ears ring if you were in the car for a long period such as a Czech road trip!!

I expect it's to do with resonate frequencies.
