New Karoq phone connection problem

Featured Replies

I have a brand new Koroq and i am having problems connecting my mobile in hands free.  I have had the phone a couple of years and had no problems with my Yeti.  With the Koroq it seems to loose the pairing with the phone after the ignition is turned off although i always get the message remember to take your telephone as i turn off the ignition.   Any ideas fellow Koroqes?

I'd try the usual. Check Bluetooth is showing your phone. Delete it. Reconnect and see if it pairs. If it doesn't, or drops out again it's back to the dealer. Could be your phone though.

As it's new I'd check that the satnav is up to date, which should have been updated at the dealer.  Put us, and a lot of others in trouble heading for a funeral venue.

A new road -opened a year before near Mere Cheshire wasn't on.

If the ending message comes up, I suspect that you were properly connected.
When mine connects, with the infotainment off, I only hear a gentle pinnng a few seconds after starting the engine.
Did you test with an incoming call?

For some reason mine only pairs with no hassle if I enabled Bluetooth well away from the car!

If I do it closer to the car I have to mess around with the info screen.

If your phone is Android then sometimes it helps if you clean the cache.
