Driving a TVR!!!! :D:D:D:D

TVR Tamora Red Rose, to be precise. Mmmmmmmmmmmm lovely, but scary at the same time. Very twitchy, especially on a trailing throttle or under braking. Clutch and throttle very soft, brakes like pressing on a block of wood with your foot - although a little feel developed as they warmed up.

Belongs to the same nice man who let me drive his M3 a while back - thanks Michael!

Great fun though - except it started raining so we came back rather gently (wuss). :P Fuzzy phone pic attached.

There I was thinking you'd beaten me in the dealer tyre kicking stakes ;)

It growls, roars, spits, crackles, burbles and pops :D

TVR's are fab...even better backwards at 120 mph.

Jammy sod Nick, and here was me waiting to grab you on MSN :)

I officially hate you.

*harrumphs off into a corner to sulk*

Walkie will have a fit when he sees this. And how come my friends have mondeos:( :D

Friend of mine has a Tuscan 2 in metalic pink with cream leather interior

 That is stunning!!!

I fear it may be a little out of my price range though :o

Know what you mean, I was stuck next to a Tusan on the motorway the other day. Put the window down and listened to the burble of the exhausts  ... much better than what was on Radio 1

Did anyone else notice the TVR which went popping and banging past all our parked cars at Weston? I'm not sure whether the driver was smiling or sneering :)

Reminds me of the time (a good few years ago) when I was parked next to a Shelby Cobra. The driver returned to his car, started the engine (VROOM! GROWL!), and my dad said "that's awful - it sounds like an old Ford"

I think there are some who can testify now to the fact that a 928 sounds rather splendid "under load" as well ;)

tamora+ blueflame cans = v nice sound....

Tsk! I can't be doing with this :bike:

Have you said, Nick, how come (on Briskoda rather than MSN) ? Test driving for a review, buying it for a couple of fivers? Had to get to the sandwich shop before they closed?

Just wondering, not like I'm bovvered, you understand *growls louder than exhuast*

It belongs to my colleague, Michael - you can see him sat in the car in the pic. He's a nice man, he lets me drive his cars - he's had a go in the 928 too

:)

My colleagues don't let me anywhere near their cars, well except to drape myself on the bonnet Saaaah! :hilarius: Must learn to brandish Autoglym like a six-shooter...
