‘No DAB or FM Stations Available’

Recommended Posts

Is your aerial intact/damaged? Have you tried resetting the head unit? (Press and hold  standby until you see the splash screen).

Do you have an estate? If so it could be with checking the rear boot windows. The aerial is stuck to the glass; it looks like old school heating elements.

It’s a hatch. I did try the reboot, didn’t work...

Ariel seems fine if it’s the shark finn on top..

Same with AM too, so it does seem Ariel related. I wonder if it’s unplugged at the back of the unit? Any idea where the release is?

I prefer Daz to Ariel but all washing powders work better than an aerial.:tongueout:

Just updating this. To save you reading above...

2016 Superb with Amundsen

When trying to search for stations, I get...

No DAB stations

No AM stations

No FM stations (interference sound only)

Any new suggestions?

https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/450799-connectors-on-mib2-unit/

Have a look on the above pages from the Octavia forum. It shows the connectors on the MIB 2 unit which I think yours will be.

All of the connectors are on the back of the glovebox unit and I've read that they can fall out but whats the chances of both aerial plugs falling out at the same time!!!!

Hope it helps

Just an update for you. If a mod could put *SOLVED* into the title that’d help people in the future.

I pulled the glovebox unit out again, and had a look right behind. 2 of the plugs were out. Pics below. All working great, although I’d love to know if you can amplify the DAB signal as it can drop at times.
