But the real issue is if VW need parts for VW, Audi, SEAT then that will be before Skoda gets parts, and VW Group have supply issues in various countries,

They can only screw down wages in various EU Countries for so long.

Which still doesn't explain why deliveries would start in September in the EU but December in the UK...

Only time will tell.

Hybrids aren't due until next year, volumes will be small (low range, tax breaks disappearing), and I don't want one. Superb hybrid battery is small (13kWh) compared to a full hybrid, so I'd be surprised if there's a shortage -- unless Li cell factory capacity (which supplier do VW use?) has been booked out by a customer with much bigger demand or much bigger batteries...
