New pressure washer time

Featured Replies

My Nilfisk C110.4 has packed up amidst a very strong electrical burning smell.  Fuse didn't blow, but unfortunately it had been turned on without the hose being connected, which I presume may have contributed to its demise.

I've read lots on here at DW, and can see the All black 9 is likely to be available again from next month, but just wondered if anyone's bought a PW recently that they are particularly impressed with?

Don't need any fancy gubbins as it'll only be used for car cleaning.  The Nilfisk Titan and Karcher K4 seem to get reasonable reviews.  I won't be spending Kranzle level money.

If anyone wants a recently deceased C110.4 for spares, I have one going for free.

I have the All Black 9 from Direct Hoses the product and the service is brilliant, I would not go  back to the other names you have mentioned as they are no way near as good.

I've got one of the slightly older Karcher K4's. Had it for about 4 and a half years and it's never put a foot wrong.

I use mine with the Karcher foam gun and then the standard nozzle to clean the foam off. Got the premium pack from B&Q and it wasn't that expensive IIRC.

You're probably aware already, but make sure whichever one you get has a watercooled motor.

Also, if you have some Nilfisk tools you want to use on the new jet washer the guys at Direct Hoses will make you a connector up. As I said great service over and above the norm.

I'm still using the All-Black 8, seems i got a good one.... given all the various batch issues at the time.

All Black 9 as you say - would be my recommendation. Service and support from Marcus at DH is great.

Accessories and add-on's for the All Black fittings are also mega cheap - which is a bonus.

For example - i picked up a spare gun + snow foam lance for £15.99 on ebay; not had to use them as yet though.

Always happy to support a local business too

I have a C110. been looking at getting a hose extension or extra long one (ooer).  What bits do you have with yours that may be of interest?
