Hi all,

 

my skoda roomster 2010 started to shut off without any seeable reason.

sometimes it happens 5 minutes after starting and sometimes after 30 mins.

 

I did a scan with VCDS and as it seems right now that I have some short-circuit in the engine electrical system.

can someone guide me how to locate the short-circuit?

So a 1.6 Petrol and still electrical issues.

Best have an Auto Electrician look at it, or a mechanic.

Yeah I would suggest you possibly have a few chaffed through wires. Finding them can be a nightmare as can repairing them. All the best with it.
