Whilst driving today, on two separate occasions I’ve had a warning bong go off and a brief flash of the car image which appears when a door is opened. Only, all doors are closed and in the brief moment it appears, I can't see anything highlighted. 

 

Has anyone encountered this before whilst driving? Image below is for reference only.

Nope, nil changes to the car recently. Did change boot bulbs for led units, but that was before Christmas.

When the diagram triggered, assuming it then went off, did the doors auto lock again?

MFD? Maybe my 1.4Tsi has lost its.

You're ok, I just checked. and mine is missing.

Multi-Function Device (MFD), such as the ............ all refer to the same type of multi-functional office solution. They are all terms for an office machine which incorporates the functionality of multiple devices in one. With a smaller footprint these photocopying multi-functional devices not only provide centralised document management, distribution and production. But they also manage a better use of office space.

Nope. No locking. It was just a warning bong and a quick flash of the car diagram. 

Not going to be able to get a scan of the car until tomorrow morning now.

In the context of a car the TLA MFD is used to mean Multi Function Display.
