Vega alloys touch up paint

Featured Replies

Hi does anyone know the paint code to order a touch up kit for my Vega alloys on my Superb Sportline. Just a small scuff that I can do myself just can’t find a paint code. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Skoda don't do touch-up pens for their alloy wheels, nor do they communicate their wheel paint codes either.

VAG do share paint colours on their wheels though, so I'd be tempted to take a swag at something like this...

Sorry, but paint code is written in the inner face of the wheel. This code is written exactly as the P/N (part of the molding). 😉

I've noticed that when I removed my winter wheels (17" OEM ones) to clean them before storage until cool temperatures. It's clearly written on 2 different arms of the wheel:

¤ 3V0601025 A

Silber / 8Z8 (--> Silver painting)

¤ 3V0601025 AS

Schwartz / FL8 (--> Black painting)

But it's effectively possible, that touch up paint are not sold by Skoda dealers... Unfortunately. 🙄

I'm hoping to have my Vega's swapped by my dealer this week.  If I can get a look at the new ones before they are fitted then I'll try and see if there's any paint codes on the inner face.

So they do, progress I guess, this is a relatively new addition to the stamping on the back of the wheels...
