You need to take the climate panel out, take the radio screen out first and then the climate panel pulls off with no tools, then the USB trim pushes down and unclips. Then the bloody thing is held in

SmartLink is dealer activation, it’s not worth it to do it any other way if you already have a MIB2 as the cost is similar. Dealer shouldn’t charge you more than £122 for the part and £15 for activation. The newer 5E0919605M screen is a direct plug and play replacement for your screen but the APP button doesn’t work. It’s still backlight though. As for videos, the Amundsen doesn’t do that but you could jailbreak an iPhone or root an Android phone to do it via SmartLink.

There’s no bottom trim on that, they aren’t a separate part, should have mentioned that. It’s still cheap, but I have never seen a loose trim for sale. TPS couldn’t look it up last time I went and you can’t reuse the old screen trim as it’s different.

That is well spotted I feel like an numpty now.lol. Maybe when I come over to Anglesey to see my family in September  I could come borrow yours.lol. Should be able to find one somewhere with me be in the trade or make something up which wouldn't be to hard.
