Noisy wiper blades

Featured Replies

Arrrgggghhh driving me mad! Changed the blades for new Bosch AT, noisy, proper noisy and just when it goes quiet for a second the bloomin' passenger wiper drops a couple of inch.  I've tried adjusting the angle of the arms, cleaned the glass with 99% IPA, treated the wipers.  Nothing is working.  I will clay the glass and see if that helps but other than that or trying a different brand I'm running out of ideas.

Edit - what I have noticed is that there's seems to be a lot of pressure on the middle of the blade 😕

I just use the original ones from TPS, never had a problem with noise.

Has it had the wiper arms off for new screen recently? What has changed to cause the noise? I Clay my screen then use some sort of repellent, but only done that since fitting the dash cam to keep the beads of rain from obscuring the view when it’s parked up.

I seem to recalling the Bosch blades on my old Accord and binning them off after a couple of weeks, sounds like I'm going to end up doing the same now.

I only run Bosch blades on our cars and never had squeaky ones. They always been silent

Cracked out my hardest clay bar on Sunday, something I only use in the most severe cases as contamination.  It's a horrible bar to use but going over the screen picked up loads of stuff the regular bar didn't, particularly around the resting position.  I'm now 95% squeak free!
