Like the Superb the internal button only opens the boot, it would be nice if it closed it as well like it was on my Mitsubishi Outlander.

 

I think that it can be altered by VCDS on the Superb, I wonder if can or if it has been done to the Kodiaq?

 

I’m well aware of the safety arguments, but would add that the boot closing on my MY19 is very sensitive and bounces back at the slightest obstruction, I’m pretty sure it’s not going amputate limbs or crush children.

 

I’ve had a look on the forums and can’t find any reference to it except a software fix to increase the sensitivity on closing and the bounce back I understand that the closing used to be much more severe.

Errr... pull and hold, and it closes the boot. Does on mine, anyway.

I don't think it can be done via VCDS, or it can't in the Superb 3 anyway.

 

You need Vag Can Pro to enable it (well on the Superb you do)
