Featured Replies

Certainally moving at a pace.

I do hope this thread is not racist

i had an octy vrs (silver one) on my tail today in worcester, he was pushing me to race, by coming up close behind, backing off and coming up close again. I told swmbo "this skoda wants a race"! - i was doing about 45 in a 50mph limit, so this tw4t in the silver octy flew past me about 400 yards before a roundabout.

Sounds more like he was trying to get past you than race you...

Rob.

There but for the g-race of God go I...

Racing on a public road is irresponsible.

That's what pod and track days are for.

Sometimes AVNPRS needs to be quite close to properley register the plate. Possible. Doubt he was goading a 'race'

Who is "anyone"? and why would he race himself?

Jean Claude Van Damme in Double Impact raced himself I'm sure ? ;)

Poor old Jenson Button trie to race some blokes in Australia at the weekend, until his engine went bang 100yds from the finish line

Diddnt Arnie race himself in that "clone of Arnie" film" ?

Unbelievable !! Remember when Carlos Sainz lost the World Rally Championship a while back when his Toyota failed abot 50 yards from the finish and they couldn't push the car !!

I briefly arrived behind him at the roundabout, only to disscover a camera pointing at me and 4 blue lights in the back window!!!! UNMARKED COPPA! If i had dabbled in a "race", he would have nicked me!

His driving was Dreadful

If your on this forum Mr plod... then... dont be a ****![/quote']

Aren't they know in the trade as a target car? Thats what they do isn't it, goad "boy racers". I know you aren't a boy racer btw o bald one :D

An underhanded way of doing things if you ask me.

Most of the local "yoofs" think mine is a plod car, especially out of towners, as we don't have Octavia's in this area. It's fun getting behind them with the xenons, and two aerials on the roof :D

I don't go as far as flashing them over Johnny Boy, obviously, but I can see them keep looking in the mirror, then back at the speedo

I remember, he threw his helmet through the car window. Clumber park, or Chatsworth House was the venue, not sure now. Those were the days..........Audi S1 Swb, whistling and chirruping through a stage.

A colleague has on of those white special edition Vectras that (IIRC) Ross used to build at MSD. He's gone as far as fitting blue strobes behind the grill

BTW: It was Chatsworth, you're right dave

It was Luis Moya, his co driver that put his lid through the rear windscreen.

To make it more convincing, wear a hi-vis jacket. I'm betting if you go along the motorway at 90, everyone will get out your way

When I used to drive to site in my hi-viz, quite a few people would slam on the anchors as they went past. The unobservant ones just ploughed on past.....

The best time was when some tool (middle-aged bloke who was agressively undertaking and tailgating in heavy traffic) in an E-class Merc got the evil eye and a wagged finger from me. He ceased -I think he was fooled
