Spare Wheel Advice

Featured Replies

Evening all,

I currently own a Rapid Spaceback  1.2 petrol 2015 and couple of years back purchased the full size steel wheel and tools set.

I'm looking to change to an Octavia Greenline 1.6 diesel 2015 that doesn't have a spare just the gunk and compressor which i'm not keen on.

my question is, would I be able to use my spare from the Rapid on the Octavia.

sizes are as follows

Rapid Alloys wheel/tyre size: 215/45 R16

Rapid Steel spare: 185/60 R15

Octavia Alloys 205/55/R16

Thanks in Advance

Kev

The spare tyre wants to be 195 65 15 to match a 205 55 16.

Don't know if the wheel will fit though.

Thanks AG Falco

No, Rapid uses 5 x 100 pcd, Octavia is 5 x 112

Thanks for the replies guys..oh bugger..looks like I'll be looking for spare wheel and tyre for the upcoming Octavia.

Try thewheelshop.co.uk , they're based in Manchester and are on Ebay as well as their own website.

I needed a wheel for my OH's VW Up after punching two holes in a sidewall. No can of foaming goo can fill holes the size of a pound coin. Wheelshop can supply wheel, tyre, jack and brace at good prices. Top quality and known manufacturers. I've no connection.
