(Regarding Octavia RS station wagon with detachable towbar)

I am having problems with connecting my 13-pin contact from my caravan because it is to tight between the bumper and the connection. 

Does it exist some kind om 90-degree angle so that can connect it more easily?

The socket on the factory-fitted detachable towbar on my SE Estate is hinged so it turns down about 90° anticlockwise. It can be quite stiff to move down as it's only held up with friction - and also a bit awkward to get at under the bumper. I've just taken these two photos which show it up and down.

 

mine is the same, i will probably laser cut the folding part of the bracket to give it a longer neck for better clearance

It's a bit awkward to pull down but I haven't had any clearance problems plugging into it.

Me neither, once it is pulled down.

mine snags on the rieger splitter as its deeper at the back, its mm though so nothing that cant be sorted
