Anyone?!?!?

Still haven’t got round to doing this.

  • I don’t have / need cruise control

  • It’s a manual

  • Just want to be able to change volume and basic audio controls and answer phone calls.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,Cruise control has nothing to do with the multi function steering wheel,if your car came without mfsw most likely you will need a new or used bcm, medium or high, at the moment I'm pretty sure you have low,you need a new steering wheel or just the buttons, the airbag is the same, 4 or 3 spoke.you need a new wiring loom for the airbag and multi function.and then you need to remove the bcm component protection at a skoda dealer or someone with odís.It's not difficult, i did it myself.

Thanks for your help, I have found many of the button inserts that can be installed in place of the current blanks.

Could you shed any light on the wiring loom I would need please?

The BCM have nothing to do with multi function steering Wheel

So I won’t need a BCM?

Should the wiring just be there ready when I remove cover?

Or is there a wiring loom from the new buttons to the BCM needed?

The multi function steering Wheel is a sub Controller of the Gateway. This need the correct LIN for the function steering Wheel

Ok, so I've removed the airbag from current 4 spoke wheel and there's a wiring harness that just has connectors to the airbag - nothing for the button controls on steering wheel.

Can anyone help me with a part number for the harness I'd need please?

Than a case of physical fitting and getting someone with diagnostic to make it work?

Thank you so much, I’ve found plenty of them on eBay for about £30

Ok, thanks for your help everyone. I now have the wiring and steering wheel physically fitted.

How do I know if I have the mid or high gateway needed?

I want to visit dealer once to have the coding done so would like to know I have the correct hardware.

Thanks in advance!
