Hill Hold Control Fabia 2017 Coloured Edition

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've got question to anyone who got Fabia mk3 TSI 1.2 Coloured Edition. I want to activate or install (depend on options) a Hill Hold Control in my Fabia. Today I picked up Carista adapter with thinking there should be option to activate but there isn't. Is anybody try to activate that and if yes, is it possible to do that with carista adapter or any not to expensive adapter to enable that?

Hi oVca,

Yes it can be enabled, but it is currently only available via the Carista beta version of the app. If you email the developers, who are very helpful, they should be able to add you to the beta list to enable you to download the app.

As above, available on the Beta version. I’ve activated it this way on my ‘19 Colour Edition and it works great.

What else is available in the beta that's not in the normal app?

Oooooh.. there's something to try when i can get my hands on a carista thingy-ma-bob 😁 hopefully by then they will have added hill-hold to the release rather than having to get hold of the beta.

Do you need to have purchased the full version of Carista to get on the beta program?

I have the free version of the app on my iPhone and have used it for code reading but not got the pair version to do adaptions.

Also is the HHC still only in the beta version or has it made it into one of the recent carista app updates that have gone out via the app store.

No. Send them a debug report and say that you want to trial Beta features. They're usually pretty quick to allow it.

Cheers for that.

No need for subscription just do diagnosis and send to developer and they give you permission for beta. Working perfect on my wifes Skoda :) as well working beep on close open but keep setting for beep only on closing doors.

Is there anyone in the Manchester area that could activate this for myself and my partner? I would be willing to pay for your travel and time 😁
