TALEX, can't recommend this highly enough. Autocar placed both models in the Talex line up first and second beating off thirteen rivals!.

Here's the reply ....

I use a Talex GPS based detector & I really can't recommend it highly enough !

It found every red light & speed camera I know about in my area & even a few that I didn't !

I wouldn't venture away from home without it, so much so that I've now actually "hardwired" it into the Golf.

It warns you about possible mobile camera sites as well & the whole database is updateable via the internet.

You get a warning via a females voice as you approach cameras about 500 mtrs before & if you are over the limit it tells you to slow down. It also gives you a very accurate (GPS) digital readout of your speed whilst on the move.

I got mine brand new in the box on ebay at the bargain price of

I use a Cheetah and a Tom Tom, which gives you the best of both worlds + Sat Nav ;)
