Hi , I have just got a new fl scout dsg which has replaced my pre- fl 2017 manual scout. I have just noticed that the fl scout doesn't have any under bonnet soundproofing,yet my 2017 pre fl had the under bonnet soundproofing felt fitted. Both are diesel. Has anyone else noticed the same ? 

My FL Scout has the underbonnet soundproofing. If you want it, look up RPS on Facebook. I think it's around £40ish, but obviously slightly unwieldy to post. They are located in Worcester/Coventry.

I wouldn't worry about it. If my Scout was anything to go by, the road noise etc will drown out the engine noise

My Octavia 2.0 tsi didn't come with this fitted  - it isn't fitted at the factory on the petrol versions. I ordered one at my local dealer - took a couple of days to arrive - and I collected / fitted it myself. Saves on postage - it cost less than £30 I think (and came with the fasteners).
