I was looking over the Jabba site to see if they had something like the AMD Onceclick or the Revo SP1. i saw this "Diesel Generic Performance Software +" but there aren't any details about it.

Anyone any ideas about what this is or if Jabba do offer something like the Onclick?

many thanks

As far as I know the AMD One Click is unique in that it allows you to return the car to standard at any time, whereas the Revo allows the user to turn the performance up or down. IMO the AMD is very good indeed and is being offered in the Group Buy here @

The generic remap is basically an off the shelf remap, bot custom tuned on the rollers which gives the best results. Its why its £100 cheaper.

I was speaking with Jabba and they are talking about incorperating 3 settings into VAG-COM.

  • Standard (Service time)
  • Moderate increase (Day to day driving)
  • Weekend frolloking (BIG SMILE ON YOUR FACE POWER) :D

Just clarify...One Click is not a product designed and developed by AmD....it is something bought in and to which they apply their maps.

Good all the same though.

Jabba at present do not have something akin to those although, if there is enougn interest I'm sure they could do something.

Jabba explained it to me as follows:

when they remap your car, they traditionally put it on rollers and manually tweak all available parameters for best results. This needs a rolling road and Mike et al to spend about 3 hours tweaking.

However, once they've done one Golf PD130, they then have a pretty good generic map that'll work on another of the same model. It won't take into account your individual car or any mods, but it'll be OK.

This is cheaper as it's easier for them.

I decided I was only going to have it done once, and if I didn't go for the custom one I'd always be wondering what I was missing so went for the more expensive one, which I'm very happy with.

^^

well put
