Adjusting window wash spray pattern?

Afternoon all,

As above, is there an easy way to adjust the spray pattern? Reason being, my driver's side seems to fling alot of excess onto the roof and also back onto the rear glass. The adjustment is fully down, but it's the spray pattern going slightly wild... Anyone have any tips to adjust this?

Also, whilst I'm here, the headlight washers don't seem to operate - fuse is ok, potentially the motor / pump? Common issue?
