Hi dudes and dudets this is my 2019 Octavia 245.

Here will be my project on her.

 

In plan are polishing with ceramic coat suave.

Damping for road nosie insulation

And some small bits and pieces

I allready bought sound insulation and deatiling  products...

I also bought sunshades...

 

I do like those alloys. 

Wheels look fantastic. Are they 18 or 19"?

I really like the Vega wheel design. One of the better OEM wheel designs out there at the moment IMO. 

 

 

They are 18" and they come in challenge option here in Croatia.

 

For my taste i dont like the wheels...

Hmm. New plan if I end up owning my 245: sell 19" extremes and buy 18" vega.

Crazy! My advice is don't 'upgrade' to any 19" wheel... 

Nice I wish I'd specc'd the bigger screen, interested in the sound proofing 

you got the correct colour. 😁 looks very nice, im interested in the different icons on the headunit. looks brighter than mine.

Nice indeed..... this has me thinking, i was going to spec the bigger alloys but with the DCC.... But they do look good, i may just save my money, or add the virtual cockpit to my long list of options i already have 😞

Keep the smaller wheels but still go with DCC.

I put the hood insulation and hood dampers...

Ceramic coat was applied to the car and now its curing time

 

 

Why insulation under the bonnet? I never thought TSi engine noise was an issue.

 

P.S.  Front parking sensors might have been a worthwhile option 

It looks naked whitout insulation

I have front parking sensors, dont mind the picture looks can be deceving i am not that close to my other car.

This week i was busy...

Front wheel arches get proper treatment

car looks great btw and I’m really digging the Vega’s, came very close to buying a set of those for my car.

I i dont like so much this vega wheels,it is not my taste...

wow that's brave buying a brand new car and taking it apart, I guess you know what you are doing....where are you based? We are coming to Krk next week....

Didn't like the feel of the 18" compared to the 19" on my 245 with DCC, bit too floaty/sloppy on turn-in

Floaty. I would love my vRS to be this!

Do you have a part number or link for the under bonnet insulation?   The only stuff I can find is for the pre face lift, nothing for a 2019 model, I would like to do this to mine as I agree, it looks naked without it...!

Yep i know what i am doin I do on every car noise insulatio  and this is my third.

 

I am on vacation in Pula its near Krk aprox 100km
