Center Console DSG Surround (3V2863212A)

Featured Replies

Hey , does anyone know anywhere (other than direct from Skoda) where I can get a replacement for the DSG surround ?

For example

They are £98.78 from Skoda plus 1 hours labour to fit , my friend just paid this out and it really does look nice when not scratched to hell (plans to prevent this if replaced )

Not sure if there are any variations in part numbers for the DSG ie the central part where the drive P R N D are highlighted is a separate part all together or if there are 2 different part numbers (DSG Vs Manual)

Eg

Fitting can't be that challanging with a bit of care and some trim removal tool, I did it a few times on my old MK2

Thanks in advance

Can anyone help on this one ?

Many thanks

If it is just scratches then you can get a specific plastic scratch removal paste.  (McGuires Scratch X or PlastX).  I have got very good results with these, 90% removal, a good deal cheaper and easier than replacing the trim.

I bought really nice aluminium look vinly wrap for all "piano" black trim parts in my "Style" equipped car. I haven't had time to get it done, but I imagine I'll have to take all apart so it will look stock (original). Way, way, WAAAY cheaper than buying trim pieces. These are usually really expensive, 40€+... Not worth it...
