Hi Folks, could any of those making full usage of Skoda Connect give me some idea as to the Data Usage of the facility.  I.E. What sort of Data Sim Contract should I go for?

Just get the free 200mb data SIM from Three as that should be an ample amount that also gets renewed every month for free.

Thanks, well I'm giving it a go as I'm paying for a monthly Giffgaff goodybag for my spare phone which acts as a Wifi hotspot and lives in my car.

 

Once word of warning OP depending on your phone type you might need to ensure it doesn't auto update apps etc which consume data.

I still think on average you might use more than 200mb - gonna try anyway to see. However my current month (with a week to go) I've used 600mb for instance but again that could be the phone updating stuff/something I've missed disabling - and I have been doing so  I'm paying for 2GB currently so not an issue.

the best unlimited deal is also three, if you get the home broadband sim its £20 pm, i have one for the house and one of the car. i get a steady 20mbs download and im quite rural.
