Does anyone have any experience of the Skoda connect Lite app, does it do anything useful ?

 

and does anyone know if it is compatible with the VW connect data plug to be seen on Ebay ? I'd guess the software on both was identical but that does'nt mean to say they havent been made incompatible

 

£5 eBay vw plug works perfectly.

The app has some cool features. It maps your journeys, rates your driving, shows fuel costs etc. Here's screenshots showing some features.

For the sake of £5 it has  different functionality but works much better than the paid for Skoda Connect.

any recommended sellers on ebay ? I dont want to give my business to the one that just doesn't bother to reply to my questions about compatability if avoidable

Yes.

Sorry, I don't remember which seller I bought from but it would've been the cheapest.😄

Great just bought one, is the smartphone software called Skoda Connect Lite?

Can anybody tell me what this means in plain english , I cant find anything in phone settings about 'auto revoke' ?

Yes, click on the link. It's an Android 10.and above thing which will auto remove permissions to camera, GPS etc if the phone feels that the app does not use them. It's a security thing.

 

Let me know if you get past my total though!!!! ROFL.
