There is no guide. Just trial and error with OBD11;)

It is, under speedometer end I think. Mine is set to version 5 which is 180 mph end and 10 mph increments.

As per the picture, mine is version 4 which gives the 10mph increments but keeps the original end value I believe. 

 

However, choosing any of the other numbers and seeing what happens won't cause any harm!

Have a try and see! I only did number 4 off Sashas recommendations so didnt need to mess around!

Tried them all. Did not find it 😁.  Anyway anyone know if you can remove the modern screen or any other screen with OBD11? 

For some reason even if I unchecked it, after an ignition cycle it reappears.

You can do it with sport mode.  But can you for the others?

OMG I changed it to V4 and what a damned mess its made of the speedo.

 

It wouldn't have been so bad if the font wasn't so thick and bold, but it's awful. So later on it'll be changed back or to something else.

My VC is set to Veiw 5. out of the 11 available via VCDS  5 is the best**

im sorry but i would take your car back as theres not a single thing wrong with the font/sharpness/colour etc on mine? it all looks perfect and im very hard to please

I take it that was an attempt at sarcasm... The screen resolution is poor and so the clarity and crispness of the fonts/characters will also be poor.

 

This is a putrid and hurried attempt to catch up with the competition. If you're satisfied with it, then you really are easily pleased, I am not, it's a low end screen and the implementation of what could be an excellent bit of kit is rubbish compared to Peugeot and such like.

Now that is nice, can you choose any colour, there's no Carbon look.  May I ask please, how did you change it ?

Now I can't remember which version it is. I think it's version 4.

 

As for colour I don't know how to change it.

This is the regular non vRS display. Was going to recommend this if you are not sold on the vRS font. I need to get my FL BCM in the car so I can get ambient lighting!!!
