Still not found something comparable with dcc... figured there was no point trying a golf r with dcc.

 

Going to try a dealer diesel L&K tomorrow, given I've tried a non dcc sportline diesel, its th only comparable test I can think of, although not not on the same roads.

Anyways, don't dwell on DCC too much. Just go for it. If you are afraid of it dying out in a couple years when you still plan to keep the car, that gives you much time to budget for a replacement set. Worse case code and swap to non DCC shocks. 

 

If you cannot accept that, then pick a non DCC. Simples. 

Bit ironic but going to look at a Superb Sportline Plus Estate on Monday to possibly replace the wife's kangaroo Karoq SEL. If I buy it I will probably drive it and let SWMBO drive the Vrs245 for her commute. That should keep her happy on the commute. The Superb only has the 1.5TSi engine but with DSG there will be no cold start issues. It's a pre reg delivery mileage car (10 miles on the clock) and £7,620 below list price with a Pano roof (saving 20%). Electric boot, electric drivers seat, ambient lighting in stealth Black Magic like the Octy.

Great car, you'll love it. Same spec as mine but without the roof and diseasal.
