Hi ,my nsr door lock and windiw not working,  very experienced mechanic checked wiring in door snd drivers  door, and cant find  any broken wires.  Could it be one of the control  boxes, any idea which door to focus on rear or driver's.

Might be worth scanning the car with VCDS or similar to give some clues 🙂

Ye they did, cant remember code but basicslly says command unit not talking to the slave in door.

Need to have a look in live data and see what state the network is in. Could well be the drivers window motor is at fault.

But more likely a broken wire unseen under the PVC which will look ok, but will have broken strands on the inside, or corrosion in the quick release connector in the A-pillar.
