Hi :-)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

This seems like a good group. It has shown up every time I've searched for a question, so I thought that it was about time that I joined up.

I'm attaching an image of the make of my car.

I assume that the little '3' in the image means that my car is a Fabia Mk III. Is that correct?

Thanks,

Damian

Actually, after looking at the dates of the different models, and my licence plate (xx59), I assume that I must have a MKII model. Is that right?

If so, what's that little '3' for?

Damian

Hi Damian welcome to Briskoda we bought a 80bhp level 3 spec (which is the highest available at the time) TDi in 2007 and it was a great little car. Looking at the red on the badge I would say you have a top-of-the-range model with the 80bhp engine.

Yay 🙂

Thanks shyVRS245.

So, is our car a MKII? Or maybe even a MK I?

How can I tell?

Thanks,

Damian

Yours is a Mk2 and the less well equipped spec 1 and spec 2 Fabia's got the less powerful version of the 1.4TDi with 70bhp. On a run I could get over 70mpg.
