Thank You - I'll give it a try and then i suppose I may have to look at replacing the whole system at some point.

Thanks, after reading through here it seems to be an issue loads of people are having! 

 

It hasn't happened since I applied that update, but I'm not holding my breath!

 

Otherwise the car is excellent and I'm very happy with it.

I bought an used Skoda Fabia. Me was told that SmarLink+ is integrated but i only tells me Smarlink starts an thats ist. I hope an update will fix this.

I´ve never updated it since I bought the car ( I tried several times Skoda´s update portal, but it always said that no updates were avalaible for mi VIN number)

 

So I´ve got 2 questions....

Is there any update for my unit? (I guess yes there is since while going through the whole post I´ve seen people with Hardware H30 and higher Software values

In case there is, What is the use of the Skoda´s update portal? (Since it says no updates are available...)

 

Well... and my last question is (yes.. I lied a bit when I said it was just 2 questions, sorry!!) Are there any improvements with the newer software versions? (more stability, functions?)

Unfortunately it will not - your unit does NOT support SmartLink, although this is included in the menu items. None SW update will have it sorted. The only solution is to replace unit mounted behind glove box - if you are interested pls contact me on PM.

@d_olalla detailed list of changes (so called change log) is not available, no new features, just bugfixes - check your PM.
