How on earth do I remove this light and the spider inside.

Featured Replies

As per the title I've got a dead spider in my bulb housing and it's annoying me...

After checking the manual, looking online and removing a couple of screws I can't figure out how th remove the unit without potentially snapping something.

Pictures attached.

Many thanks as per usual.

Always amazes me how they manage to get inside !! Is there anyway you can get a small pipe in there attached to your hoover ? That would drive me mad as well !

Hard not to feel sorry for the critter, probably crawled in a baby and had a short, foodless life, filled with noise and insane flashing lights!

Spiders are annoying when they take up residence in your wing mirrors though.

Due to the contortionist-ness of spiders I don't think i'll be able to get him/her out the same way they got in, even with a vacuum :(

Surely there's a way to remove the unit. What if one of the bulbs goes?

:/

Ah! but is it a dead spider or simply the old skin that it grew out of. :D

Better a dead spider in the lamp than the live mice that lived in my wife's old Golf!
