Advice on seats sought

Can anyone advice me which Skoda model offers the most comfortable / supportive drivers seat?

I’ve been driving an Octavia Vrs Mk2 estate for many years but problem with my back means I’m having to look for a more supportive and comfortable ride.

Thanks in advance for any advice on this

Hard to advise Ed.  Comfort is such a personal thing.

Most find standard Roomster/Fabia seats comfortable - I found them a PITA.  Literally!

Most find Roomster/Fabia Scout seats too hard - I found them comfortable.

Most find Yeti seats exceptionally comfortable - I find them so-so.

I think you're going to have to try a few seats for yourself, but I would suggest adjustable lumbar support is a must-have.

Thanks Robjon

Ive been looking at Yetis thinking the more vertical seating position may be helpful but have yet to try one out

If you do go down the Yeti road, look for one with rain sensing wipers.  The rear view mirrors on these are mounted an inch or so higher than those without, which allows the driver to sit that little bit higher.  I found that extra inch the difference between oooh! and aaah!

In addition, I found alcantara seats more comfortable than cloth seats - and I found Monte Carlo seats more comfortable than standard seats.  Your experiences may differ!

Defo go for something that has adjustable lumbar support, it makes all the difference. Most VAG stuff have seats towards the firmer end of the scale. Personally I found the more heavily bolstered sports seats I had/have in my octavia vrs and kodiaq sportline (both with adjustable lumbar) to be more comfortable than the flatter seats I had in my yeti se. Found the seats in the fabia to be like sitting on a hard "kitchen" chair with no support. But honestly, lengthy test drives are the order of the day to know for sure.
