Instrument cluster LED color

Featured Replies

Hi all, i've to change the rev and speedo led of the Instrument cluster on my 2011 Superb, but i would like to know the exact white originally mounted by Skoda. On eBay i've seen various types of white, like 6000k-6500k, 7000k-7500k, but wich one is the right one?

Idont imagine anyone will know the answer , surely an smd led is so cheap you could experiment?

my guess would be around 4000k

Below 3000k is "warm white" - more than 5000k is "cool white".

the industry standard was agreed as

2000-3000 warm white (1000 is a candle)

4000 - 5000 natural white

5000 - 7500 cool white (9500 is the colour of a blue sky)

so orange white or blue
