Good evening all.

 

I have developed an intermittent 'ticking' noise on idle, in neutral, on my 2014 Superb 2.0 TDI DSG.

 

My man has deduced the noise is from the gearbox area, so assume dual mass flywheel.

 

Has anybody had similar symptoms which was DMF please ??

 

Is any 'specialist' equipment needed to facilitate replacement please ??

a friend seems to think special pullers and shims are required.
