I recently sold my modified Triumph Sprint St 😞 so was looking for the new rush

so here they are, I think I may have over done it 

 So we have;

Vlad Trabant 601 Special(the green one) soon to have modified rear end and front disc upgrade  

Bert, Trabant 601 Special (the white one) my son and wife want this made into a rally car !! yes they did really rally these. the engine has already been stripped but there is a Triumph Triple waiting in the wings

Rocky Trabant 601 Kubel (the yellow one) this should be painted  military green as this was originally it's intended use

??? Trabant 601 Convertible (the red one) fitted with 4 point schroth harnesses?? 

these are all fitted with two stroke, two cylinder engine that have a devastating power delivery of 26hp, believe me when I say that is enough power. the brakes are an afterthought the the steering wheel is just there to hold on to while you pray  to the journey to end  BUT since I have had the green one I've used the Superb less, as the Trabbi is much more fun to drive and I get out with the biggest smile after driving, every journey is an adventure:) 

I will update this once the modifying and restoration begins. Yes I could have bought something expensive and exotic, but where the fun in that and Vlad get more smiles and comments than any Aston would.

I did once see one in Germany with a badge on the back reading "Trabbi Twin Turbo Intercooler Water-Injection 16 Valve".
