Hi guys

Are you meant to be able to use ACC whilst towing just mine is disabled when I connect the caravan. I now understand you are meant to be able to use ACC?

Mine works.

Mine works too.

What is it meant to disable and what is meant to work anyone know just gonna take it back to where it was fit

It’s meant to disable the rear parking sensors and blind spot monitor/rear cross traffic alert.

And everything else is still meant to work thanks

Copied from another post..

“A properly coded trailer set-up should:

Disable the parking sensors

Disable the car's foglight

Enable the trailer stability programme

Enable trailer bulb failure warning

Enable trailer theft alarm activation

Show a picture of a connected trailer on the radio screen when reversing”

Plus disable blind spot monitor and rear traffic alert, as ZacDaMan72 already mentioned.

Thanks all 👍

Plus it automatically enables Trailer Mode in the route planning if satellite navigation is fitted...

Hi again my acc won't work and headlys were I got tow bar fit say the car needs calibrating has anyone else had this

If they fitted the tow bar then the onus is on them to carry out any coding/ calibrating that is required.

So headlys say when I connect the trailor the front sensor should change for towing but isn't and Skoda need to calibrated it. Yet they also told me that they haven't had any problems of the new models mine is on a 17plate.

Tell them they can do what they like, as long as it involves no cost to you, and is done at your convenience and not theirs.

They had the chance to do it right the first time, and failed.

That is what I have said I am booked in for them to change something that's in boot if that doesn't work they said they will change the whole electrics and put the new ones in. So we will see
