future engines / spec for the Kodiaq vRS

Featured Replies

what new engines and tech are anticipated for future versions of the Kodiaq VRS , looking 3 years ahead ? have put down a deposit for one but would be kicking myself if Skoda decided to give it a decent petrol engine soon

I would buy one tomorrow if they put the 272ps tsi engine in it....preferably vrs green!!

🤩

Skoda will never put a big petrol engine in the Kodiaq vRS.

For that, sell a kidney and go have a chat with an Audi salesman.

I'd agree if it was a big engine...its only a 4 cyl.  You are right though that the VW/Audi lords and masters wont allow anything with any real oomph from the 6 cylinder line up in a Skoda.

Such a shame really.

You did used to get the superb with the 3.6 V6 @ 260bhp (I think) so not impossible but fairly unlikely to happen with kodiaq. Kodiaq would be awesome with the V6T engine in it though. The most we could hope for is the higher output version of 2.0tsi found elsewhere. You could buy a Sportline kodiaq or L&K with the 2.0tsi 190bhp and have it mapped etc.
