Hi all , just bought a new to me , Estate (elegance) 2.0 tdi (140)

 

I need a couple of things cleared up.

1. as it’s on the “cusp “ how can I tell of the ident plate if it’s a mk 2 or 3?

2. What size spare wheel would I need ( it’s got 225/40/80 tyres on the alloy) it came with a crappy gunge kit 

 

To " @clint " - Your is "Skoda Superb 2" or "MK 2". There is no "Skoda Superb 3" or "MK 3" with 140hp Diesel Engine. For the spare tires, sorry, I can not help you..

The official 'space saver' spare is a 6Jx16 steel wheel with a 205/55/R16 94V tyre in it. Any of the standard alloy wheel sizes fit in there too. Official tool kit can be ordered from a dealer or found online. Scrapyards might have one too if you're lucky.
