What engine?

Nothing bad to say about mine

2L TDI, 150 bhp

Not had much to do with the TDi but its a good engine with the 4x4 Style has a lot of kit as standard.

On top of usual servicing check the haldex has been serviced (depending on mileage) along with the DSG etc etc

Problem is you get used to the 4x4, difficult to go back.

Thanks a lot, it's manual gearbox, I don't know about the haldex system but it's still low mileage nearly 25k miles.

Biggest problem reported on 2.0 TDIs seems to be with the water pumps.  There's a sticky on it at the top of this forum section:

Thanks for your help, it seems to be on the early mk III, most of the complaints was in 2013/14 models, hopefully it's fixed now.
