All pics are copyright of myself and Briskoda. You may download them but they are not to be posted elsewhere or I will come 'round your house and beat you over the head with a blunt object...(just kidding!)

Cracking pictures.

Like the Jetta GTi, some coil overs and 19's and that would be some weapon i'd say.

Cheers. My mates wife (the guy driving the M3 in the first pic) has a new Jetta, but the 2.5 non-turbo (170hp?) version. It is a nice car to drive. VW did well with the new Jetta/Golf IMHO.

I think the (US) 2 door Civic looks tons nicer than the hatchbacks I see in the UK. It's the Si model which has a civic type R motor (197hp). Hopefully UK will get that bodyshape in time. UK got the older shape (96-01) Civic coupe eventually so there is hope lol.

John,

We like those!!

great pics!

No Skodas (or Seats) though, alas!

Some nice pictures there !

The big golf ball tower brings back memories, was in Fort Worth 18 months ago for a month's training with work, unfortunately not around the time of the Motor Show though, at the time I couldn't get over how cheap new cars are over there when compared to equivalent sized models here, defo not fair on us lot across the pond!!! Great shots, is that a new charger in police colours?

^ I think it is a Dodge Charger, yes. I live just south of Fort Worth. Where were you training/which company?

You have to add sales tax, registration costs, and a few other things onto the price of new cars, so it's usually about 9% or 10% on top of the advertised price, but even considering that new cars are mostly much cheaper over here as you say.

Cool son, cool. I could eat my heart out at that show. was there ANYTHING there I could AFFORD!!

I work for Northbrook Technology, they are a member of the Allstate group, we deal with the IT security side of things for them, us N. Irish workers are cheaper to employ than the yanks! The Allstate building was just down round the corner from the airport, we stayed in apartments further down the highway, was there for a month but it was too warm for me, great experience though!

Glad you enjoyed it!

Us UK workers are cheaper to employ than the locals, who generally earn twice as much as us...we get some uplifts and bonuses for being abroad though.

I work at Lockheed Martin (Joint Strike Fighter)

Wow, whats the orange thing with the bonnet stripes, very retro!!!! Any more pics of it anywhere?

Dodge Challenger concept car.

Since the 'retroesque' styling of the new Mustang, Dodge and GM (Chevy Camaro) have been hawking their 'new-retro' concepts (which are based upon their 60s/70s muscle cars) 'round the Auto shows here. ;)

There is a link to the whole set of pics I took in the original thread, or you could try searching 'Google Images' for better pics than my snapshots.

My camera ran out of batteries before I got to the BMW and Mercedes displays, hence no pics of those brands.

Loads of pictures on google (now I know what it is), I want one of those sooo much!
