I'm after some advice about doing some throttle response tweaks using OBDEleven.

 

I know you can do it using VCDS, but my laptop has jacked it in and I'm not buying another as I seldom use it anyway, so I'm stuck using OBDEleven.

 

But I'm looking for the Audi throttle response. But I can't find it.

 

I have found:

Engine Control Unit (01)

Long Coding 

 

I then find a white box with a line of figures 

OC 25 40 32 44 64 05 0B 10 0C

Hex OC

 

Now I'm taking it that Byte 0 is OC.

 

Below it are loads of lines with bit 0 - 10 and tick boxes.

 

Bit 0 - Unticked

Bit 1 - Unticked

Bit 2 - Box has a Blue Tick 

Bit 3 - Box has a Blue Tick

 

If I make any adjustments do I untick Bit 3 or leave it as is?

 

But there's no sign of a dropdown list or whitelist as I think OBDEleven does it, to select Audi from.

 

So can anyone give me some advice on what to alter to get the Audi throttle response option to appear and activate using OBDEleven.

 

My car has ACC.

I think it's different for the newer cars.

On my 2015 octavia in that white box as you call it under BYTE 00 I see Manufacturer: Seat/Skoda/Volkswagen and by tapping on the blue ticked box I get a drop down that would let me select Audi.

 

 

Note: I've not done this mod, just clicking through OBD11 on my phone

This is what I see.

I tried it and it came up with error 31 and wouldn't let me do it.

 

What I've done in the end was got the laptop and an inverter for the car and powered the laptop via the inverter and then used VCDS to do it, which seems to have been successful (will try it later), but I will see if I can get what you have posted to appear on the app.

The white banner appears and all of the hexadecimal digits appear but I cannot change anything or get what you had appear at all.

 

I've managed to do it with the method that I said about with the laptop and inverter, but not with obdeleven.
