I have got a Roomster SE TDI on a 10 plate and I am just wondering when I press the door open or close button on my key fob should my hazard/central locking lights flash? On my car its doesn't but I noticed it on an 11 plate yesterday that this did happen. I don't know if this worth investigating or its just a feature not on my model or age of car.

 

Any advice would be gladly received.

My hazards did flash. 

Hav you got a little red light on top of the drivers door, is it flashing when you lock the car?

yes I have, it flashes when I unlock and lock the door using the fob.

Ok, my little red light went through a fase of working then not working. It eventually stopped altogether. 

It was the start of wires breaking where they come into the door. 

If the little red light is still working it probably isn't that. 

Are all the doors and boot locking? 

The central locking is working fine - both the the doors and boot lock and unlock. I'm just wondering could it be a blown/missing fuse?

Hi D, maybe have a look in your handbook and see what fuses do what, and go from there. I dont have mine now, or i could of had a look. 

Thanks for getting back to me. I only got my roomy a couple of years ago and didn’t have a handbook. But I will continue to look into it and let you know how I get on.
